Originally from New Jersey, Tara received her BA in English from the College of New Jersey in 2007 and obtained her MA in Arts Management in 2009 from George Mason University (Fairfax, VA). She has been with the American Academy of Audiology Foundation since 2009 and enjoys working on the day-to-day logistics of the Foundation as well as the annual Auction 4 Audiology. When not at the Foundation office, her interests include reading, pop culture, and summer trips to the Jersey shore.
Kathleen Devlin Culver, MPA, CFRE has been with the Foundation since 2004, and brings over 20 years of nonprofit management experience to her position as the AAAF Director of Operations and Development. She earned BA degrees in Government and Anthropology from Franklin and Marshall College and a Master of Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Kathleen has served in numerous positions, including co-chair of the Virginia Fundraising Institute, board member for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Virginia Caucus Board, board member and scholarship chair for the AFP TriState Chapter; she has also served other youth and community-focused organizations in a variety of volunteer roles over the last 20 years.
Having grown up in the Washington, DC area, she enjoys all things political and is a "news junkie." She currently makes her home in the Shenandoah Valley, where she relishes time spent reading and antiquing, but most of all, with her husband, four terrific children, and Buster, the worst behaved dog in the world.
Kathleen is also gratified by the growing support of the AAA Foundation from audiologists and others in hearing healthcare… and appreciates the many "audiology philanthropists" who give freely of their time, expertise and financial resources.
