Lecture Series

The Foundation supports lectures at the American Academy of Audiology annual conference on topics that are increasingly important in the audiology field and related disciplines.

Jerger Award for Excellence in Student Research

Each year, four students who display their research posters at the AAA Annual Conference and receive a $500 award from the Foundation for outstanding research. These student poster awards are funded by an anonymous donor. For more information and to apply, visit the AAA Annual Conference website. 

Academy Research Conference

The Foundation subsidizes registration that enables deserving students to attend the Academy Research Conference held the first day of AAA Annucal Conference (formerly AudiologyNOW!). Past topics have included noise-induced hearing loss, aging, and binaural hearing. For more information and to apply, visit the AAA Annual Conference website. Research Grants in Hearing and Balance

 The Foundation annually awards approximately $20,000 to young and new researchers through the New Investigator Research Grants; Student Investigator Research Grants; Student Summer Research Fellowships; Hearing Aids, Clinical Protocols, and Patient Outcomes Student Research Grant; and Vestibular Research Grant. For more information and to apply, visit the AAA Annual Conference website.
